Easy to use for my 5 year old! Practiced opening and closing a few times before her 1st day of school but easy to use once she got the hang of it!

Impossible for a younger child to close. The double hinge has to fall in place for it to close. Better for older kids (7+)

Great bento box for easy lunch prep. Would love it more if there was a silicon container for sauces.

Perfect! My 2 and 4 year old have no problem opening them. I thought they were too big at first but hold a perfect amount of food for them.

I like the boxes, but on the stainless steel, I don't like the hinges. If they are not up all the way, it won't close easily.

We just got this and it's roomy and sleek, it generally does an ok job.... but our daughter is reporting that the clasps will often pop open if she drops or bumps her backpack. Maybe it's because we're "overpacking it" but the only thing we've packed that's too wide for the depth of the box has been a hardboiled egg. That give you an idea of the room on this thing. TL;DR Good size width and length, but depth it lacking and the clasps cause it to open too easily

I returned these the day I received them. I ordered two for my 5 and 6 year olds and while the 6 year old was eventually able to close the lid, my 5 year old was unsuccessful after many long attempts. This is NOT made well for children. I would not recommend this for any age child.
