This 13-gallon smart trash can is fantastic, I can't believe I ever lived without it. As someone who cooks regularly and hates touching dirty lids (especially with kids and pets around), this thing is pure magic. The motion sensor is perfect—no fumbling, no smudges, just a wave of the hand and the lid glides open smoothly. It's so quiet and responsive. The 13-gallon capacity is ideal for my entire family. I only need to take out the trash every 4-5 days, even with daily meal prep. The bin itself is made of high-quality, fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, and it's surprisingly lightweight for its size. The inner bucket is easy to remove and clean, and the liner fits perfectly—no slipping or bunching. It runs on 4 AA batteries that lasts about 3-4 weeks on a single charge.

What a nice addition to the kitchen! Our previous trash can was barely making it with its broken pedal, and thank goodness we found this EKO model. It looks like an attractive appliance, and the Sam's kitchen trash bags fit perfectly in it!

The can fits perfectly in our under counter trash cubby. We just can't use the auto opening feature. it does a better job of keeping in the smells the old can couldn't. She loves it!

It's ok. Fits the space. But I wish it moved faster and sensed better. It really only works by tapping the lid with the garbage you intend to throw out. The rest of the time you're just kinda waving trash at it hoping it will open. If it had a foot pedal I'd like it more.

Nice quality automatic garbage can. I like the removable can allows you to secure a regular kitchen size garbage bag in there. Operation is easy open and close buttons are just sensitive enough without accidentally opening or closing.

Great trash can. It uses standard 14 gallon bags and 4 AA Batteries. The lid opens and closes very quietly and looks great in my kitchen. The inner can pulls out for easy cleaning and the lid can be easily wiped down with a Clorox wipe.

While the trash can functioned okay, the lid is so flimsy and light weight that it didn't close properly, and I was concerned about it's longevity. It was returned without an issue. Gotta love Sam's for returns.

Tired of my old step lift trash can migrating into the cabinet and not being to open because apparently my kids are very busy and need to throw trash away fast or not at all, this appeared to be a solution. My can doesn’t move anymore! Additionally, it looks really good. It’s kinda fun like Chik-fil-a trash compactor cans. The old, regular size Sam’s bag fits it. And it’s technology is nice: hold open feature, count down to close on quick dumps and for extended dumping it can see you and wait til you leave. If this holds up well, it will be my Christmas to myself present of the year.

Exceeded expectations , I have finally upgraded my old manual trashcan to this one. I love the fact that it’s touch less and matches my appliances in the kitchen . I do have to empty the trashcan almost daily as the inside portion is much slimmer than what we are used to

Considering the price of a trash can now, this one was a good price. I bought it when it was on sale and it looks very nice in our kitchen. Solid construction, quiet use, and the battery seems to be lasting longer than my previous one. Love that the power button is on the outside so I can turn it off before changing the bag and the lid doesn't flop open and closed.
