The women pictured on the packaging is still young! Some health conditions such as incontinence, post surgery and even bladder issues can cause stress for women that need to still function daily with needed support. After awhile I finally forgot I was wearing them, but they aren't so comfortable that they feel like regular underwear. The waist band comes up just high enough that they provide full coverage, but aren't peeking out of my pants. They do fit nicely under my underwear, so I can remove them in a public bathroom if need be.
