[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do like this razor. The shave is smooth and it doesn't pull at my skin like some razors. The big circle in the middle is good to help control it, but also not really necessary to be that big. What got me was the packaging! There are so many box and hardboard to get through for just one razor and one replacement head. It also comes with a stand which is pointless. Who has extra space in their shower for something else to sit and collect water? It should come with a command strip to attach to the tile wall. I'd rather they give me more replacement heads than a stand!

Purchased the new exfoliating bar razor. In comparison to the proglide that I have used for years. The handle seems cheap, makes a clicking sound when you put it to face and the shave is no as good as the proglide. IMO Thanks but no thanks Chris Warren

It came with a very modern looking stand which is great for preserving counter space. I find the exfoliating bar very useful while shaving as it leaves my face feeling smoother than ever. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Personally, I don't see the benefit with this razor, it has a nice base to set it on, but other than that it's just another razor like all the rest, it does not seem like a huge leap or have any benefit over the other affordable Gillette products.

It glides across the contours of my face effortlessly without any tugging or pulling. It gave me a smooth, clean, nick free shave and the magnetic base is a nice feature for storing upright on the bathroom counter. I have coarse facial hair and haven't experienced any ingrown hairs. I would definitely recommend giving this a try.
