[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Gillette Exfoliating Bar Razor for a couple of weeks, overall, I am impressed with the quality of materials used and the sturdiness of the design. The base stand that is included is also a nice touch. The razor provides a smooth and close shave and I particularly like the articulating razor head. However, I do have some critiques. The razor requires a new type of razor head, which means I cannot use the ones I already have. Additionally, I found the exfoliating pad to be ineffective. Despite my appreciation for the razor, I will likely continue using my previous razor to avoid having to purchase the new style of razor head.

The shave is noticeably closer and smoother than any other razor I have ever used. The build quality is also excellent and the product even comes with a stand for the razor so that the blades don't dull when put into a drawer. Given I have to shave everyday, this product has been such a blessing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They have made a fantastic razer with this one by GilletteLabs. It really does glide across your face and with minimal irritation. The pivoting bearing is really a game changer as you navigate around your chin and face. Comes with an impressive magnetic stand that shows it off too. Has a nice weight to it and the only thing I had an adjustment period while using this was, I accidentally pushed the disconnect on the razer to drop the head off. This is built into the pivoting area and my thumb like to sit on it. Hands down still my favorite manual razer I have used.

The metal handle has a high quality look and feel, and the dual motion of the flexing head/pivoting neck gives me a nice, close shave. The blade still feels as sharp as it was when new, and the exfoliating pad has held up and is not slimy or cracking. Admittedly, I have a beard and only shave my neck and clean up my cheeks, but the disposable blade has held up great thus far. I personally think the heavy magnetic stand it comes with is kind of ridiculous, but maybe that's because prefer to keep my razor in the drawer with the rest of my bathroom stuff and not standing up on the counter. I can definitely see my younger self finding this to be cool though, so I guess there's value there? Overall, this is a great razor. Depending on the blade replacement costs, I can see myself purchasing more in the future.

I've always used Gillette Razors, since day their first 5 blade disposable came out as, from my years of experience and daily use, they are the absolute best hands down. When I saw that they were releasing a new razor with the exfoliating bar, I jumped on it. This razor is the absolute best razor I have ever used. I'm not sure how much I love the exfoliating bar but the reason I am so excited about this razor is the way the “contour mechanism” works. It just glides and forms to your face so easy, I'm not having to make multiple passes over the same spot, changing the razors direction to get all the hairs. The results are the closest, easiest shave I have ever had. If you shave daily like I do, get this razor!! 110% Recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting with the highlights. The pivoting bar at the top makes a huge difference when going around the neck area. You no longer need to rotate your hand in crazy ways to get each bend. I also really like the magnetic stand. It lets it fully dry and not need to be just laying on the counter. The tough to reach blade on the back side wasn't super effective for me but I may have to give it another shot. All in all, it's a great razor and will be part of my routine.
