I have tried using Gillette razors over the years and no matter what I used I got irritation or bumps on my neck. I had to switch to electric foil shavers because of that. I gave this a shot and it did not disappoint. Whatever that little exfoliating bar is, it works! Once its hit with warm water it just glides like melted butter on my skin. No irritation, no bumps, I am a happy guy!

As long as they're not charging exuberant prices for refills, I will likely continue to use this one. It feels well-made and will likely last a long time. It has yet to rust in the shower, Which others have before.

The exfoliating strips on the blade felt great to use. Another nice feature is storing the razor on the magnetic stand. Classic touch.

The swivel head helps it contour into all the right places. The added stand is a convenient way to store the razor when not in use. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the solid weight and feel of the handle itself. Not heavy, but a good solid weight and balance. Really like the magnetic base, although you do have to get it set in right. Stays clean and ready to use. I typically use the Mach 5 blades. This one felt a little rough to start with the exfoliating bar, but I'm used to all blade. So I've come to like the exfoliating bar, seems to keep the blade grounded and engaged for a clean pass. I'd buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a full face and head shaver, have up on holding out long ago, finding the perfect razor for a fresh clean shave of your face, neck, and head can certainly be challenging. I was a long-time fan of Mach-3 (among other brands) though after receiving a Gillette Labs as a gift there is no going back. The exfoliating bar keeps my skin silky and moist and the 5 Gillette blades w/ 2D Flexdisc perfect cut at any angle.

It cuts about as well as any other Gillette razor, which is a bit better than your typical D2C razor. Whether that's a good value is a bit of a personal decision, but I wouldn't pay more for this versus any other Gillette razor.

It has a nice stand to keep the razor off dirty surfaces and never misses a spot on my face! The razor is definitely your biggest bang for your buck!
