It gives a very close shave and leaves my face feeling smooth. The handle is good quality and is easy to hold. Not too heavy like some other brands. If your looking for an awesome razor, this is it!

I can't be sure the bar creates a better experience, but its design does create a better connection between the cartridge and handle. I don't think the cartridge will ever inadvertently pop off like some have done in the past. The weighted handle and stand really make this razor feel premium and the shave is excellent too.

It has slightly more weight than my last razor, but not anywhere remotely heavy. Great look and feel. Excellent grip. Provided a smooth shave with no tugging.

Of course Gillette always makes a great razor but this one is a little bit better than the rest. I like the small green part if the shaver which is the exfoliate bar. So as you shave any small hairs that might be there will be moved before the blades touch it. It also comes with a magnetic stand. It has a little weight to it, so it feels sturdy on it. I use it while I let it air dry after I washed and used it.
