This is a great razor for anyone looking for a close shave. The exfoliating bar is a nice addition that helps exfoliate your face while you shave. The head of the razor pivots smoothly and accurately for a confident shave that is close, clean, and comfortable. Having an exfoliating bar that works to clean your face in front of the blades is a feature that provides one of the most professional at-home shave a man can get. Plus, the fact that the blades last up to five years is amazing. The magnetic stand is a great tool to keep the razor clean dry and quickly accessible. The handle is easy to hold. Packaging is really smart.

The stand is a nice touch and the razor is heavy duty and well constructed. I haven't gotten in grown hairs after using this razor which happens often with the other razors. I use a Gillette razor every day and have done so for over a decade, as I started shaving my head daily in 2009. I love their products but this is just too much. The exfoliating bar pushes the blades too close together and they clog easier than the standard 5-blade cartridge. I only used this on my face and neck, which I shave less often, but I'm not sure I've noticed any benefit to the exfoliation. The tilting head seems like a cool concept, but I didn't like it in practice. Made it more difficult to maneuver around my jaw. I also disliked the cartridge-specific handle. I love being able to mix and match heads. The base for the handle also seemed cool in principle, but the magnet is so weak it's useless. Don't bother with any of it.

It allows for a smoother shave and since it's metal and rubber coated it's durable. The multiple blades allow for a pretty good shave but for some spots you'll have to go back and shave again.
