I can't be sure the bar creates a better experience, but its design does create a better connection between the cartridge and handle. I don't think the cartridge will ever inadvertently pop off like some have done in the past. The weighted handle and stand really make this razor feel premium and the shave is excellent too.

It leaves my face feeling so smooth without the red blotches.

The metal handle has rubber grips so that it will not slip, and the five blades are great. It offers a close, smooth shave and the swivel head helps to shave around the jaw and chin. Also love the magnetic base that it comes with to help keep it up right and in its place.

The handle is very heavy and feels good as well. The main drawback is that the exfoliating bar makes your face feel VERY SLIMY. I was not a fan of the slime at all but other than that, if you like cartridge razors, I don't see why you shouldn't buy this. It also comes with a nice base

I also like the exfoliating bar to remove old skin, providing a closer and better shave, since the razor gets to focus on hair instead of shaving dead skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth easy shave, but i do have a few critiques: the handle is quite slippery so I was constantly scared i was going to drop it, the stand was poor quality, and the included lube strip leaves a slimy residue on my face and mouth. Smooth shave, but scarily slippery handle.
