[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my watch7 to the new watch9 because I have loved my watch7 for 2 years. So far I have to say I miss my 7. The silver addition added around the watch face makes the watch look much bigger and is very ugly in my opinion. The battery is not great. I barely get one full day and I only use my watch to read text messages. My old galaxy watch was getting two and a half days. The 9 is lighter feeling. I love reading text messages on my watch so it is good at that.

Overall it's a great smart watch. Especially when paired with a Galaxy phone. As long as you don't mind charging it everyday or two. Pros: Great screen display. Some apps work on phone and watch together. Can snooze phone alarms from watch. GPS picks up signal quick. Samsung Health metrics are nice- accuracy is mixed. Comfortable to wear all day. Locks when you take it off. Post workout metric summary is nice, gps run will show on a map. All the apps you could want available. Tap to pay works well. Cons: The battery is terrible out of the box. Wore it for 2 months with it not even making it through the day. After a forced reboot(not a restart) it seems to have fixed it and will now last 30-40hrs. The Samsung health fitness index metrics are not accurate, might be good for someone just getting into fitness, anyone already fit will see the errors. The strength metric is a complete guess, it has no way of knowing if you bench press 150lbs or 300lbs making it highly inaccurate. Same with the flexibility metric, it has no way of knowing your flexibility, just an inaccurate guess. GPS pace sensor is not instant, def has a lag but it's not to bad.

Excellent watch. Very reliably accurate on its health readings, and it syncs with the Samsung Health app flawlessly. Surprisingly long battery life with a crisp display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy watch 9 40 mm for my wife. The screen is much brighter and lasts significantly longer than her galaxy watch 7.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this watch and you should too. It has so many features that I probably will never be able to learn how to use them.

I so badly want this watch, but have to send it back. The watch will not maintain a stable Bluetooth connection with headphones while walking/running. It constantly has disruptions while playing music. It doesn't matter if it's downloaded or streaming via LTE, it just skips all the time. I've tried all of the newest Galaxy watches, and they all experience the same issue. I even bought the Galaxy buds 4 pro headphones to see if that will help, but it didn't. I actually love everything else about this watch, but the main function I need is convenient wireless music while working out, and this watch perform. I'm going to give a different watch a try, which is very disappointing. What's even more disappointing is this generic AI response blaming me for the problem. It's a brand new watch, with brand new earbuds. Of course I have tried many options to solve the problem, but it sounds like this is a hardware problem for this generation of watches, as many people on reddit are experiencing the same problem. Samsung obviously doesn't care since they are using AI to respond to all these reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the watch 9 as a replacement for my Samsung watch 5. What an amazing difference! The battery life is good and the watch transferred over to my s26 with no issues at all. Samsung did a great job with this new product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the new Galaxy 9 watch as part of my journey to get better fit. I like the interaction between the watch and my Nordicktrack Recumbent Bike 10 with IFit. The ability to better track my stats as my journey moves forward. This will be my 3rd Galaxy watch. Love the watchband install buttons, make it much easier to install "fun" bands. I would recommend the watch to anyone looking to upgrade their Samsung wearables.
