I chose the new galaxy watch 9 and it is exactly what I was looking for. It helps me take calls from my wrist, and I can quickly go through my messages on the go when I can't pick up my phone. And I can track my health with step counter and heart monitor built in. Its a great gadget and well worth it compared to it's competitors.

Then I started researching price and the best deal was getting the watch directly through Samsung. It was quick, easy and my pre order even came with an extra band. I chose the right watch in every way possible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I traded my Galaxy watch 7 for the watch 9. The 9 would not record my sleep. Like the 7 use to have gaps and early ending of sleep, the 9 out the box did too. My watch 7 after a year of use and numerous Google searches and fixes later started to work properly. I tried for about 5 days to apply all the fixes to the 9 but it didn't solve the issue. I even tried reinstalling my 7 back up to it. Anyhow sleep and workouts is what I mostly use the watch for. So I returned the 9 so glad I didn't send in my 7 as trade in. I would give it less stars but workouts it measured ok. I would stick with what you have till they fix the sleep issue on the new watches.

No, the 9 perfectly complements my needs. I just got it the other day so, I'm still playing around with but I'm loving it so far. Adding different watch faces to suit my different needs. Using my watch for Tap to Pay, controlling my headphones or making a phone call. Seeing notifications as they come in. I'm excited by all the different possibilities this watch now offers me.

The seamless integration between my watch and phone is incredible. I love the health features they track everything for me throughout the day and even remind me of tasks and goals. I love my watch and can't wait to find out other ways to optimize my usage!

However, I wish I had the 7 battery back. I've tried stopping everything from running and have a plain watch face and cant get through 8 hours with this watch. Pretty disappointed.

I upgraded from the Galaxy Watch 7 to the Galaxy Watch 9, and I really do love the new features — they're a genuine step up. But I can't actually enjoy any of them because the battery just can't keep up. I'm charging my watch fully before bed every night, and by morning it's already dead. That means I can't wear it during my morning workouts, which is exactly when I need it most for tracking. Having to charge the watch twice a day just to keep it functional is a huge inconvenience and defeats the purpose of a fitness/health wearable. This is honestly so disappointing because everything else about the watch is great. Samsung, please address the battery drain issue — whether it's a hardware problem or something that can be fixed with a software update. I want to love this watch, but right now the battery life makes it hard to actually use.

I love that it has an ECG reading on top of the heart rate monitor and these features have been helpful to track my irregular heart rhythm episodes. It's also great that it can measure blood pressure, skin temperature, and blood oxygen. This watch is genuinely a gift! It keeps me more aware of my daily health. Thank you Samsung!

So far has more and better features focused around workout and over all health, Give a good amount of data and tracking some interesting things it will show about you body, I would recommend it. The only thing that is disappointing is the battery life, Definitely 1 time a day charging good thing is it charges fast.
