As someone who appreciates clean, minimal design, the cushion-shaped, lug-less aluminum case is exactly what I was looking for. The Cream colorway is gorgeous and fits perfectly. It feels incredibly light and elegant on the wrist. While the design is what caught my eye, the new health sensors are what make it indispensable. The addition of the Cardio Load metric, the Heart Health score, and the advanced antioxidant index give me actionable, everyday insights into my wellness. The new Snapdragon Wear Elite chip also makes flipping through these health metrics incredibly fast and fluid. It's the perfect mix of form and function, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants serious health monitoring without sacrificing style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my Watch 5 to the new Galaxy Watch 9, and the transition of my information using Smart Switch was quite seamless. The only thing that did not transfer automatically was the permissions, which I am still in the process of re-approving. The larger display is a very welcome enhancement, as it allows me to view notifications at night without needing my glasses. Additionally, the speech-to-text functionality has shown considerable improvement. While my Watch 5 was primarily used for activity tracking, I decided to upgrade to the Watch 9 specifically for its enhanced health features. I do have a Galaxy phone and am able to use all of the health features, including ECG and Blood Pressure. Upon receiving the watch I noticed how much larger the bezel was. My first thought was that I did not like the larger watch face and the squircle shape was off putting. After 24 hours of wearing it, it is as if I always had that shape and size watch face. I opted for the yellow sport band. I like the return to the regular band style, I personally hate the tuck style. The watch as a whole is very comfortable on my wrist. I am giving the all new Galaxy Watch 9 a 5 star rating for style, comfort and ease of use.

Samsung basically kept the same design but swapped out all the internals, and you feel that difference the second you start using it. The biggest change is how fast it is. The new Snapdragon chip makes navigating around the menus incredibly smooth, with zero lagging or stuttering. The screen is also shockingly bright now. I had no issues reading texts outside in the middle of a bright day. They also finally gave the smaller 40mm version a bigger battery, so you can actually get through a full day and a whole night of sleep tracking without worrying about it dying. On the health side, it does a lot more passive tracking now, giving you a heart health score and watching your vitals overnight to spot any weird trends.
