[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a well packaged, well designed razor that feels very well made for a disposable razor. The TL;DR of the below is that I think this is a solid quality razor that produces a smooth shave, but is a bit overkill or overhyped in some aspects. Probably my only complaint about this-- it seems over the top for a disposable razor. The fancy packaging really isn't necessary, I'm not sure how much I'll use the stand (I'd rather keep this in a drawer than on the counter for all to see), the stand and handle water spots easily (so it really only looks super sleek until you use it.. .then it looks like a used razor), and I would rather they skip some of that and include a couple of extra heads or lower the price. Even the heads has a strip on them that the box advertises is supposed to "remove dirt and grime" out of the way as you shave. You shouldn't be shaving a dirty face to start with-- it seems like a feature in search of a problem. If you can get past all of the above (which is relatively minor), then this is an excellent razor. The shave is as smooth as I would expect from a name brand, 5 blade razor. The handle has some heft to it and is comfortable during use. The head does not clog easily even on scruff that's a few days old (see my picture). I came away with a smooth finish, even on my dense growth and no nicks. The top of the head has a single blade you can use to trim right up to your nose-- an excellent feature unless you're Voldemort or an ancient Greek statue and missing a nose. Overall, if you're happy with the price of this as well as the replacement heads, then you will certainly be happy with the performance and comfort of the razor.

Has a nice feel especially with the side to side and back and forth flexibility of the razor head. Also liked the amount of razor blades which helps go over my skin without giving me a razor burn

I purchased this just a few weeks ago and I'm looking forward to having 2 of them. It is weighted just right, better than all the others, and a pleasure to shave with. I have a number of other Gillette Razors but this one jumped right into 1st Place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It provides a good shave, not sure I can tell a difference between the Mach5. The integrated shave gel works well and isn't as gooey as is found with some other brands. Much like other multi-plate cartridges, they tend to clog quickly and require rinsing frequently when shaving. The metal handle is solid and comfortable to hold, although a little on the larger side. The magnetic stand is nice and sleek. The prices of refills are a little expensice but it is a premium product.

My shaves haven't been this smooth since I was a new born baby! The stand is durable and the magnetic base is easy to keep my razor upright! Good valued purchase to have on hand!

I was skeptical at first, but it works amazingly well even without shaving cream — no irritation, just a smooth glide. What really blew me away is how much faster the shave is. I always get a clean shave with their razors and typically I use their gel cream and don't have any irritation after. This razor has performed just as well as their others for me. I like it, but I will say when it comes to shaving I'm not sure the exfoliating is necessary. I'm all for simplifying things and get multiple functions out of a tool is a great way to do that. But isn't shaving exfoliating already? Either way you can't go wrong with this as a razor, it works great and you'll get a great shave out of it.
