Sharp blades leave a soft touch after shave. The aloe bar May be helping but I did not find to affect the overall shave experience. It definitely looks cool with the stand in the washroom.

I like that it gas a base to hold the razor so it's not just laying around. Its great for my sensitive skin and i just overall love it. It's affordable and works great! First off the blades are super sharp and beat of all they don't rip up your skin. They last a long time too. So it keeps the price of blades down. The new connection system is super secure and easy to use. The weight of the handle is what really sets this razor apart. I love how it feels in my hand and love how much control I have over the razor. No doubt this is the best razor out there. Definitely recommend!!

It provides me a clean shave and also leaves my skin feel soothing and soft. I highly recommend it as a great buy!

Extremely disappointed with my new Gillette Labs razor. Beautiful looking razor with a very comfortable handle, but what counts the most are the blades and they are TERRIBLE after as few as 3 shaves. I have never been able to use one of these blades for more than 5 days before it becomes too painful. Every time I try a Gillette razor blade I go RUNNING back to Schick razors and blades. The quality and durability of Gillette blades and Schick blades is not even close. Schick wins by a mile!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Gillette Exfoliating Bar Razor for a couple of weeks, overall, I am impressed with the quality of materials used and the sturdiness of the design. The base stand that is included is also a nice touch. The razor provides a smooth and close shave and I particularly like the articulating razor head. However, I do have some critiques. The razor requires a new type of razor head, which means I cannot use the ones I already have. Additionally, I found the exfoliating pad to be ineffective. Despite my appreciation for the razor, I will likely continue using my previous razor to avoid having to purchase the new style of razor head.
