I made this purchase 4 days ago. The stand for the razor is a joke. I put it in the shower with the razor, and the razor fell out. (The grip on the razor's handle is frail.) The blade fell out. Unlike other Gillette blades, this one is inserted into the razor by holding the blade cartridge with your fingers. And the cuts on my index finger prove the stupidity of doing away with the current insertion technique. The box only contains one cartridge.

When I do, I tend to be lazy and do it after a shower without using any shaving cream or gel. That's not great for your skin. I gave this new razor from Gillette a try and I have to admit, it was fantastic. Cut great with little to no pulling, and left my face feeling smooth without any irration. The flexiable rotating head and moisturizing bar really work! My only complaint would be the handle. It was a little slippery in my hands and a little lightweight. I have been using one from an online subscription service and love the weight and rubber grip it offers. I wish this had both of those features.

It was also very smooth which is nice since I have very coarse hair and get ingrown very easy. I'm currently the member of a membership razor club and I think I'm going to cancel them and just use this razor from here on out.

First off, this model has a nice heavy weight to it which I personally appreciate after years of using cheap single use disposal shavers. The design is very slick and pleasant to the eyes. The included stand really compliments the product overall and works well. Thanks to the superior quality multiple blades on the replaceable razor, I was shocked how easily it shaved off my thick stubborn facial hair with just a single pass.
