It left red streaks and took a couple of passes. For as many blades as it has, I would have thought that it would have been a nice close shave, but it was not. The base to set this in is better quality than the razor itself. I feel like the work put into the stand could have gone to making a better quality blade. The base is unnecessary in my opinion.

It's feels sturdy in my hands, which seems to help with control as I shave. The lighter the shaver, the more I would slip and make accidental cuts. The black and dark metal also just look cool. Next off, it's a smooth shave. I just ran this shaver across my face with no nics or snags. I did not have to go over areas again at different angles to get the close shave I wanted. I would definitely recommend this shaver.

I like the look of it, and it is complemented by some rubber for grip. The metal handle also gives me a sense of durability. There is a stand for the razor included in the box which is a nice touch. I had never used a razor stand, and now I am a fan because it makes the razor accessible and helps keep it clean and dry. My only complaint is that dry water spots are regularly visible on the stand and sometimes the razor handle, detracting from the nice design. One of my review photos shows this. Features & Performance: The standout feature of this razor is its exfoliating bar which helps remove dirt and debris before the blades pass. I truly think it makes a difference because my shaves have been consistently close to my skin and very smooth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor has a heavy duty holder and I would watch any toes if you drop it. It doesn't slip or slide around on the counter or in the shower where it has more water. The razor does wobble and fall if you barely touch it but the concept is great. The razor itself could be a little better. When shaving I had to go over a couple of times for it to get as smooth as it can. I do think the blades could be a bit better and sharper. The handle is comfortable and fits in your hand good. Over all this razor is pretty good and gets the job done.
