It has an opening in the middle where the exfoliating bar can go. The razor can be used with any of the Gillette blades. Gillette is known for high quality razor blades, and now offering an exfoliating bar takes their game to the next level. My wife and I like the exfoliating option making it seem to allow us faster shaves.

First off, this model has a nice heavy weight to it which I personally appreciate after years of using cheap single use disposal shavers. The design is very slick and pleasant to the eyes. The included stand really compliments the product overall and works well. Thanks to the superior quality multiple blades on the replaceable razor, I was shocked how easily it shaved off my thick stubborn facial hair with just a single pass. The rotating head also makes it easy to shave around the jaw line where I have had difficulty with other razors.

I like the handle on this because it is easy to grip . cool colors as well . This isn't scented . It has an exfoliating strip that feels really refreshing as you shave , like a at home spa shave , I highly recommend this.

Firstly, its very stylish looking and the magnetic stand is really nice and makes it easy to store the razor in your bathroom. The actual blade/shaving is super smooth and easy to use and it gives a nice clean shave. I think it works great and is really good. Gillette does make really nice quality blades, so I don't doubt that it will last a long enough time.

Immediately I feel better about not having to lay my razor on the counter between uses. Another good quality about this razor is the build. The handle feels really good compared to disposable or budget razors. The shave itself is great! The blades deliver a really close, superb shave. I have no complaints about that. The exfoliating bar, however, doesn't seem to deliver much. It gives no feeling or sensation that is worth noting. In closing, if exfoliating is important to you, I wouldn't rely on this razor for that. However, this is indeed a good quality razor that delivers great shaves.
