I have tried using Gillette razors over the years and no matter what I used I got irritation or bumps on my neck. I had to switch to electric foil shavers because of that. I gave this a shot and it did not disappoint. Whatever that little exfoliating bar is, it works! Once its hit with warm water it just glides like melted butter on my skin. No irritation, no bumps, I am a happy guy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Gillette Exfoliating Bar Razor for a couple of weeks, overall, I am impressed with the quality of materials used and the sturdiness of the design. The base stand that is included is also a nice touch. The razor provides a smooth and close shave and I particularly like the articulating razor head. However, I do have some critiques. The razor requires a new type of razor head, which means I cannot use the ones I already have. Additionally, I found the exfoliating pad to be ineffective. Despite my appreciation for the razor, I will likely continue using my previous razor to avoid having to purchase the new style of razor head.

This GilleteLab with exfoliating bar works perfectly and is smooth and just glides on your skin. The exfoliating bar is incorporated into the handle so all you have to do is just change the blade. A great feature about this is the base that comes with. It's a heavy duty round base where you just put the razor and you can store it nicely on a shelf, cabinet or in the shower.

The razor has a wonderful rubber grip and a durable metal handle. This is the first razor I've ever used where I didn't feel like the handle was too cheap. Aside from having a wonderful, sleek look, the stand helps ensure that my razor is always upright and is able to optimally dry. I have also been quite impressed by how well this razor works. The razor has a five-blade system that precisely cuts even the smallest facial hairs. I've also been surprised by how comfortable the razor glides along my face. I have not experienced any irritation or discomfort while using this razor. Another fantastic benefit of this razor is the addition of an exfoliating bar! This little bar acts as the perfect secondary barrier and is great for trapping any other debris on my skin while the razor is being used. The handle also has a wonderful FlexDisc that helps improve the versatility of the razor. The disk helps move the razor at all angles along with the shape of my skin, helping to ensure that the most precise shave is achieved. There honestly is not anything I dislike about this razor! It has been perfect in every way! Overall, I'm extremely impressed with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a super heavy-duty, precise razor that's sure to leave you looking your best every day!

The rubber grip on the front side of the handle makes it easy to hold. The razor pivot along my neck creating a close shave. The exfoliating bar is an innovative feature that helps remove dirt from my skin. The blades are spring assisted so it rides along the contour of your face. I like how it pivots left and right as well as forward and backward to eliminate any nicks and cuts. The stand that comes with this model is a nice heavy disc that is designed well and looks well built.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very sensitive skin, and the multiple blades cause more ingrown hairs than a single blade razor. The razor itself is aesthetically pleasing, and the exfoliating bar feels good on the face. However, just too many razors for me.
