It has 3 speeds and pauses every 30 seconds so you know you have been brushing long enough. The bristles are soft and comfortable on my gums Cons- the head just shakes back and forth it doesn't actually rotate. The box only comes with one head so I will have to buy more very soon wish it came with at least one extra.
