[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a few things I really like about this shaver. First off, the look! The handle has a great amount of weight to it. It's feels sturdy in my hands, which seems to help with control as I shave. The lighter the shaver, the more I would slip and make accidental cuts. The black and dark metal also just look cool. Next off, it's a smooth shave. I just ran this shaver across my face with no nics or snags. I did not have to go over areas again at different angles to get the close shave I wanted. I would definitely recommend this shaver.

When I do, I tend to be lazy and do it after a shower without using any shaving cream or gel. That's not great for your skin. I gave this new razor from Gillette a try and I have to admit, it was fantastic. Cut great with little to no pulling, and left my face feeling smooth without any irration. The flexiable rotating head and moisturizing bar really work! My only complaint would be the handle. It was a little slippery in my hands and a little lightweight. I have been using one from an online subscription service and love the weight and rubber grip it offers. I wish this had both of those features.

The blade itself is par for the course, however; not bad, but it's really no better than other Gillette heads. The exfoliating bar does not make a noticeable difference in my experience. Unfortunate, then, that this base will not fit other Gillette blades, as you're locked in to a higher replacement cost.

This is a great razor for anyone looking for a close shave. The exfoliating bar is a nice addition that helps exfoliate your face while you shave. I found that I had less ingrown hairs on my face because of it. The stand is also a nice compliment to the razor. Overall there's a reason why Gillette has been leading in the razor business.

The razor has a 2D flex disc technology which works great! It makes shaving around the jaw line easier! The cartridge is sharp and works extremely well! The exfoliating bar removes dirt and debris leaving my skin clean, soft, and smooth! Lastly, the stand is magnetic and works great! It keeps the razor clean, dry, and ready to use. This is an excellent quality set, definitely recommend!!
