The handle is very substantial and weighted so it doesn't feel like a cheap razor and feels more the like the straightedge type. The shape of the head is also really nice as it seems to cause less irritation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor for Men for about two weeks and it is great. It has the normal feature we have come to love from Gillette; multiple blades, flexible head to work with the contours of your face and sleek design. However, this is the first razor I have used with the exfoliating feature and I don't plan to go back. The bar leaves your face felling smoother and cleaner than a normal shave. I am also a fan of the stand base. It is going to be a tough sell to keep this away from my wife.

I've used all numerous products trying to find something that doesn't irritate my skin and I've struggled for years until I found this GilletteLabs razor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razer cuts so nicely I can do just a couple passes and I'm good. Don't have to fight it with shaving cream since it had an exfoliating bar. Leaves skin feeling great and no red bumps or irritation. Also looks stylish and nice with it's metal base and silver look. I won't buy another type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design is very nice, especially for a gift and the stands is nicely weighted to allow you to showcase the blade in the bathroom. However, that being said, I did not find the actual blade usage to be very different from other 5 blade designs out there. I enjoyed the shave. The swivel gets a little getting used to. It is a nice added touch. I do just wish that the blades weren't proprietary and I could use other Gillette blades. The exfoliating bar is a nice touch. As well as the grippy spots on the handle.
