It cuts about as well as any other Gillette razor, which is a bit better than your typical D2C razor. Whether that's a good value is a bit of a personal decision, but I wouldn't pay more for this versus any other Gillette razor.

However, cannot really tell the difference of the exfoliating bar they have added, but maybe it helps with ravor burns? Anyhow, very clean cut and does not cause any sort of irritation.

The 5 blades take the close shave another step up. This is the cleanest shave I have had the pleasure of experiencing and doesn't cut my face. The adjusting swivel style head design helps get into facial grooves easier and the magnetic stand helps keeps the blades from getting dull on the shelf, counter, or drawer. A greats stand for a great razor. I couldn't ask for more!

The base for it is actually useful and has a little bit of weight to it so that it's not constantly falling over. I've had similar ones that weren't worth using. I've always used Gillette razors for years, and this one is superior to the ones I've used in the past. I would highly recommend getting one.
