It left red streaks and took a couple of passes. For as many blades as it has, I would have thought that it would have been a nice close shave, but it was not. The base to set this in is better quality than the razor itself. I feel like the work put into the stand could have gone to making a better quality blade. The base is unnecessary in my opinion.

The razor works well and I believe it's the closest shave I've been able to achieve in a while. No cuts or nicks. Personally, I'm not sure how much of a difference the exfoliating bar made for me. This might be because I need a lot more than gentle exfoliation.

The metal handle provides a solid and controllable grip. It's built to last, with many blade refill changes. The 2D Flex Disc technology allows the razor to maintain consistent contact with your skin, so you are able to get all the hairs with each stroke. I really like the magnetic stand, as it allows me to easily store the razor on my counter. It allows the razor to dry after use. The exfoliating strip is different as it removes the dirt and debris before the razor blades do their thing. Overall the razor provides a clean and comfortable shave.
