[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gillette Labs Razor with exfoliating bar is a joy to use compared to my regular disposable razor. It glides across the contours of my face effortlessly without any tugging or pulling. It gave me a smooth, clean, nick free shave and the magnetic base is a nice feature for storing upright on the bathroom counter. I have coarse facial hair and haven't experienced any ingrown hairs. I would definitely recommend giving this a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I got this I was a little skeptical it's been a long time since I've used a standard razor me and my husband use motor beard trimmers usually but I was pleasantly surprised how nice Gillette razors are now! The stand is magnetic which I love, the razor won't be laying in the counter which was always a pet peeve of mine. The “exfoliating” bar is more for getting trapped hairs in the razor head out so that was nice because I'm not really wanting a mechanical exfoliation on my skin when I shave. It's very easy to clean and honestly I can see myself using this for those closer shave days. Definitely a quality razor!

Not really sure that the exfoliating bar does much, but that part of my skincare/shaving routine was already pretty dialed in when I started using it. The stand it comes with is very handsome/handy too. Came with two cartridges, so I haven't had to buy any replacements yet and am not sure how difficult they'll be to come by. My only complaint is that, while the articulation of the actual razor is really nice (and kind of impressive), it's a little too flexible/has too little resistance -- makes getting the top of my mustache (right under the nostrils) kind of difficult.

The metal handle provides a solid and controllable grip. It's built to last, with many blade refill changes. The 2D Flex Disc technology allows the razor to maintain consistent contact with your skin, so you are able to get all the hairs with each stroke. I really like the magnetic stand, as it allows me to easily store the razor on my counter. It allows the razor to dry after use. The exfoliating strip is different as it removes the dirt and debris before the razor blades do their thing. Overall the razor provides a clean and comfortable shave.

I like how the razor come with a stand which allows easy storage that does not take a lot of room. The razor head also adjust to the curve of your face when you are using the razor.

Having the head of the razor articulate might sound trivial, but it elevates the shaving experience and works great. Gillette products hold up well as long as you can find the replacement heads. I've found that normally they cause a lot of irritation and razor burn for me. I was intrigued with the addition of the exfoliating bar so wanted to give this a try. What a difference. I get the close shave without the razor burn. Would definitely recommend.
