It has an opening in the middle where the exfoliating bar can go. The razor can be used with any of the Gillette blades. Gillette is known for high quality razor blades, and now offering an exfoliating bar takes their game to the next level. My wife and I like the exfoliating option making it seem to allow us faster shaves.

With someone who has sensitive skin, this razor never irritates me while I shave. It does not pull my hair randomly like other razor blades. Great durable product, highly recommend!

I like the little weighted base included so you can put your raiser in a standing position on it so it will dry and be handy for next time. I'm always happy with my Gillette razors. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My absolute favorite part of this razor is the magnetic stand. It's great to be able to use a razor that stays sharper and dry. This box comes with one razor, one cartridge and one stand. The cartridge has five blades and the handle is made of metal. There is an exfoliating bar that removes dirt and debris before the blades. This razor is a nice smooth shave. I will definitely continue to use it.

This razor rotates in all directions. I had a nice clean shave which i didn't feel with other razors. The kit comes with extra razors which is awesome. I highly recommend this product.

I have tried using Gillette razors over the years and no matter what I used I got irritation or bumps on my neck. I had to switch to electric foil shavers because of that. I gave this a shot and it did not disappoint. Whatever that little exfoliating bar is, it works! Once its hit with warm water it just glides like melted butter on my skin. No irritation, no bumps, I am a happy guy!
