Shaving used to be a bit of a chore for me — I'd get irritation and always miss some hairs. This razor is a game changer. The exfoliating bar in my opinion is a game changer! it removes all debris from your face before the blades pass, so it delivers ultimate closeness! No Knick, or razor bumps, just a smooth shave with every pass. With the five blades that it has you will only need to pass once or twice for a great finish. I have sensitive skin and this shaver does not irritate my face what so ever! I am oh so happy with the GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor!

I'm not sure I completely understand the clockwise/counterclockwise rotating swivel in the middle, but regardless, it's a nice razor.

The exfoliating bar noticeably helps reduce post-shave redness, check out my photos for proof. The slight bend in the handle makes it easier to go both up and down, and flicking out hairs (added bonus). Overall, it's a high-quality (the stand is a nice tough) ,effective razor with a smooth, clean shave. If you're already a Gillette user, this one keeps up the standard. Not sure how you could be disappointed.

I'm not sure how different it would feel shaving your face but I've liked it for my use. Even though the stand feels sturdy the handle sitting in the stand can easily get knocked over so don't really care for that piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try the GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor. I have used refillable as well as disposable razors in the past. I like the smooth shave this razor provides with it's 5 blade head. The razor also has a single blade on the opposite side to touch up side burns and other spots. The only downside I have found to this razor is the price of refills seems high but if they last a very long time, the cost doesn't take much away from the positives. Very good product!!!

One thing that I think I struggle with is gettin the angle of my jaw with a lot of disposable razors. I have to really go over it multipel times to get the save close shave as other areas. However the handle of this razor and the blades were able to give a smooth shave so I pretty much got everything in one pass. Loved the razor
