I've happily used Gillette products for decades starting with Blue Blades. Lately I have been quite happy iwht the newer item s. HOWEVER, when I bought refills they now longer fit on my handle. lTurns out the company introduced a new product with a lightly changed handle design, so their new bardes will not fit on the older handle. I can think o now reason for them to do this; unless they hope we'll buy the wrong blades and then have to go back and buy the rights ons--they make an extra sale.

All I need with this razor is a hot shower and I can shave without shaving cream! I have enjoyed using it and would highly recommend the razor to anyone with sensitive skin.

My skin looks and feels soft and smooth. I love the design, it has a comfortable handle. I also love that it comes with a magnetic stand fo easy storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow ! So I have tried just about every razor over past 15 years. This one is absolutely the cleanest shave and it's extremely comfortable. The build quality and weight is immediately felt the moment you take it out of the packaging. You also get a heavy stand for it. This is great because rather then just laying my razor in the cupboard it has a upright stand that looks and feels nice. It's Functional and stylish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design is very nice, especially for a gift and the stands is nicely weighted to allow you to showcase the blade in the bathroom. However, that being said, I did not find the actual blade usage to be very different from other 5 blade designs out there. I enjoyed the shave. The swivel gets a little getting used to. It is a nice added touch. I do just wish that the blades weren't proprietary and I could use other Gillette blades. The exfoliating bar is a nice touch. As well as the grippy spots on the handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, I'll be honest—I'm usually skeptical of these pricier razors. Feels like you're paying for hype, not results. But the GilletteLabs with the exfoliating bar actually surprised me. That built-in bar? It gently scrubs your skin before the blades even touch it, so the shave feels super smooth and way less irritating. It's got a nice weight to it, the magnetic stand's a cool bonus, and I haven't had razor burn all week. Is it pricey? Yeah. But… I kinda get it now. Can't ask for anything better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, off the bat this is a FANTASTIC Razor. I had some of the easiest, smoothest, and best shaves of my life this 5-bladed Gillette Labs Razor. This thing literally can move is all directions, gliding and molding to the shape of your face, it's glorious. The stand it comes with is ultra premiem- it's also magnetic! (not very strong- the handle fits in a socket in the stand so it's very secure) the stand holds the Razor upright and presents itself like a freaking trophy. Its very stylish and looks simply awesome in your bathroom. My only gripe is the quality of the 5-bladed cartridge. This kits only comes with 1x cartridge. After my 3rd shave with this Razor I noticed it was easier to nick and cut my face accidentally while shaving. This almost never happens to me with other cheaper brand's razors. I typically use razor cartridges up to 20 times or more before changing them. But with the Gillette Labs Razor you only receive 1x Razor cartridge and it gave me issues after its 3rd use. Also the blade started to rust after my last shave. This could be a quality control issue or just a bad razor cartridge, but if this Razor cartridge didn't give me issues and rust this would get a 5/5 and I'd use this Razor for the rest of my life! You may have better luck than I, but I wish it came with atleast 2x Catridges for me to test and I wish the only cartridge I received didn't rust after a few shaves. I still recommend this Razor regardless. If you're looking for a Razor that has an ultra smooth shave, premium handle and stand, that looks amazing- then the Gillette Labs Razor is the probably the best Razor on the market!
