The 5 blades take the close shave another step up. This is the cleanest shave I have had the pleasure of experiencing and doesn't cut my face. The adjusting swivel style head design helps get into facial grooves easier and the magnetic stand helps keeps the blades from getting dull on the shelf, counter, or drawer. A greats stand for a great razor. I couldn't ask for more!

The razor makes a nice comfortable shave. The blade seems to hold up well (for now). Overall I am pretty satisfied.

I have been shaving for the past ... years with razors my wife bought for me (they came in packs of 72). It was a ho-hum experience with some residual stubble and razor burn. My Gillette labs razor was exceptional and enjoyable. It was such a game changing experience that I bought 2 additional razors as gifts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that this razor is pretty good and I like the concept of the base but it's pretty useless if you don't leave your razor on the vanity. The actual blades cut pretty well but I found that the moisturizing strip degraded a bit too quickly.

The razor gives a clean shave every time. Has a metal handle which is easy to keep a grip on and a magnetic stand that will assure the blades dry faster and better than just laying the razor down flat. I would recommend the Gillette labs with exfoliating bar to any one wanting a very close and comfortable shave.
