The handle is very substantial and weighted so it doesn't feel like a cheap razor and feels more the like the straightedge type. The shape of the head is also really nice as it seems to cause less irritation

I have been a fan of them and sometimes it does take a few strokes to get all the hair off my face. When this Gillette Labs came out, I had to try it. Smooth, clean, comfort, wife approved. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is nice that the packaging is made with recycled materials and that it is recyclable, but the amount of packaging included is ridiculous. It took me forever to get everything out of the box and I was then left with a huge pile of cardboard. The razor itself is quite nice but no improvement over my Fusion razor. I got a smooth shave but noticed some razor burn on my neck. I don't have room in my bathroom for the stand, but it is a nice feature.
