The Gillette razor with exfoliating bar has helped minimize the razor burn after each of my shaves. The razors are quite durable and do not dull easily. I've happily used Gillette products for decades starting with Blue Blades. Lately I have been quite happy iwht the newer item s. HOWEVER, when I bought refills they now longer fit on my handle. lTurns out the company introduced a new product with a lightly changed handle design, so their new bardes will not fit on the older handle. I can think o now reason for them to do this; unless they hope we'll buy the wrong blades and then have to go back and buy the rights ons--they make an extra sale.

I have been a loyal Gillette user since my first shave with Blue Blades at age 15. I'm very disappointed in the last few cans of Gillette Shaving gel. I don't know if the formulation has been changed or quality control is dropping the ball. The gel isn't a gel so much as a slurry. Its very thin and runny. If I have just been getting bad cans of gel, I'll stay with Gillette, but if this is what I can expect, then I am going to switch brands.
