⭐ Worth the upgrade, my Galaxy Watch 9 experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Watch 9 after having used the Galaxy Watch Ultra and almost every other Galaxy Watch series, except the Watch 8, that gave me a pretty good basis for comparison, and so far I'm really impressed. The Watch 9 feels like a great balance between the larger, more rugged Ultra and the classic Galaxy Watch designs. It's comfortable enough to wear every day, looks sleek, and has all the features I use most, including health tracking, notifications, workouts, and sleep tracking. The performance feels smooth and responsive, and the battery life has been reliable for my daily use. Since I've experienced several generations of Galaxy watches, I can definitely appreciate the improvements Samsung has made over the years. If you want a powerful smartwatch without the bulkier feel of the Ultra, the Galaxy Watch 9 is an excellent choice. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Beware before you upgrade

I upgraded from the watch 7 to the watch 9. My first issue came from the discovery that none of my charging bases are compatible with the watch 9. Your only option is the puck it came with. I've also had issues with it syncing with my peloton. My watch 7 worked just fine and since the upgrade the heart rate has been very glitch on my peloton. I've tired numerous things to fix it and nothing has worked. It's borderline unstable with peloton, you have to just use the samsung bike workout. Finally, the biggest frustration is the band sizing has changed. I had a s/m for my last watch so that's what I ordered for the new one. It's incredibly small. I reached out to customer service 3 times and finally the agreed to give me a discount on a larger band that I agreed on. We'll its been a week and no promo. I'm just going to order a replacement band on Amazon for $7 because o refuse to pay $57. That is incredibly expensive. I honestly wish I still had my watch 7 and am incredibly disappointed with my experience with the 9 thus far.

Watch 9 Sleep Tracking Disappoints Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to replace my Galaxy Watch Ultra with the new Galaxy Watch 9 because it promised improved sleep tracking. New BioActive sensors and Samsung Health app algorithms would supposedly provide better information about sleep stages. I've been tracking my sleep for over four years on four successive Galaxy watches and the Galaxy Ring. Since 2025 data gaps of up to one hour began to appear in the sleep timeliness. I had hoped the Watch 9 would correct that. But quite the opposite happened. The Watch 9 fails to track 70% to100% of my sleep. It's not due to how I wear the watch or how my watches power and permissions are set, the Samsung swears those are the only possible explanations. I consulted AI and it tells me a congenital heart arrhythmia is the likely culprit. It was always there but the new Watch 9 has gotten better at detecting it and that causes the sleep tracking to freeze up. I only wish Samsung would at least provide a small print warning that for a small percentage of users certain physiological traits might seriously impair the ability of Samsung Health to track sleep. Thankfully, my spouse is in the majority who are thoroughly pleased with all the features of their new Watch 9.

Upgraded from watch 6

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely loving my new Galaxy watch 9. It has so many great new health features which is the main reason I chose to upgrade. I am also really loving the no gap clip in bands they are so easy to change and I can swap them out to match any outfit!

Watch 9 44mm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch 9 44mm is my first smartwatch. I chose it based on its features and size. It has a good balance of Health and smartwatch features. I liked the Ultra 2 battery life but it is too thick for everyday use. I may have purchased the Ultra 2 if I was still doing the level of outside activities I did in my 20s. While I am still getting used to having a smartwatch, I am using many of the health features and like being able to read text without taking my phone out of my pocket. I have the Bluetooth version. I charge it for about a half hour before I got to bed and for a half hour when I wake up.

Upgrade to Galaxy Watch 9 worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Galaxy Watch owner since the beginning. I chose Galaxy because I love Samsung and the android interface. I recently had the Watch 7, but was ready for an upgrade. The battery life is fantastic, the way the Watch studies sleep, HR and tracks exercise is spot on. I also love the Watch band attachment. So easy to click on! I purchased the LTE version to get notifications while my phone is away. Highly recommend

Watch9 upgraded on point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't my first Samsung Watch I've had so many. I choose to upgrade my Samsung Classic6 to the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 the features are amazing. The sound and notifications are much louder... In my profession that's a must. I've just gotten it so I'm finding many features I never had before. I'm glad I choose this watch.

Galaxy 9 40mm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy watch 9 40 mm for my wife. The screen is much brighter and lasts significantly longer than her galaxy watch 7.

My first wearable upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I love most about the Galaxy Watch 9 is the upgrade to the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite processor. It completely revitalizes the user interface. Swiping between screens, pulling up notifications, and opening apps feel snappy and fluid. The outdoor visibility is AMAZING. I am also a massive fan of the new Vitals dashboard and Fitness Index metrics, which is why I chose this particular wearable. Samsung Health has finally figured out how to boil complex, biometric sleep and heart strain data down into simple daily readiness insights, without locking those stats behind an annoying monthly subscription. I am truly impressed with the ease of installing the watch band. At almost 60, it is a huge improvement to what was very frustrating trying to see the tiny holes and what not. The awesome new design gives me business, casual, and sporty vibes all in one. While the performance leaps over older generations, there is a feature missing that makes me miss my Galaxy 6, the physical rotating tactile bezel. I was also hoping the battery life improved. While the 3nm processor architecture is highly efficient, real-world battery life hasn't truly evolved...yet. Either way, I still love it, and will forever be a Galaxy girl.
