I did not expect to be so blown away. There are so many improvements that I had to submit a review. The upgrades and looks as well as the quality of the band are exceptional. I use it for daily activity tracking, calendar reminders, texting, taking calls, paying retailers, checking email, and much more. It's a great product!
Light years ahead of prior model!

I had the galaxy watch 7. I just received this so I am learning all the functions on it. I think I will really like using the health part of it. I will wear this 24/7. I was waiting for a full circular design to come back but my GW6's battery has been draining more quickly than before, so I pre-ordered GW9 on the very first day. As usual, I chose the 44mm with black everything. Despite my initial hesitation on the squircle design, once it was on my wrist, I actually did not mind at all! The new straps are way more comfortable too. Everything is very responsive and snappy and charging speed as well as battery life are significantly better. I originally opted for it because of the screen size. Among other things, I'm a pianist who performs and plays regularly, and though, I may have been doing so for 75 years, i'm very comfortable working with digital music these days. I get crystal clear images and it integrates nicely with my bluetooth pedals. I also do technical theater work, including lighting and audio, and regularly use apps on this tablet to control lighting and audio. Like I said, it's a workhorse. When the time comes to upgrade my tablet, you can be darn sure, it's going to be another.Samsung.

So I CHOSE to go with the Galaxy Watch 9 upon release. Needless to say... it did not disappoint! Literally night and day. So much smoother and fluid, in addition to a much longer battery life. I'd highly recommend the upgrade, especially for those that have been behind for a while.
So far so good. Highly recommended.

However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

I chose this to go along with my phone. I actually received it 2 days earlier than scheduled and love it so far. It's much faster than my last watch and the color of the band is so pretty! I use this mainly for steps, checking email and sleep. I will always choose Sansung over other phones!

I enjoy the larger screen; the upgraded functions; the health stats tracker; and the longer lasting battery. It is very simple to setup and use. The watch band/strap is easy to attach. Samsung does not disappoint with quality materials and craftsmanship. I definitely recommend the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 series to my family and friends.

The reason I didn't provide a 5th star is that the watch face I had on my Galaxy watch 6 had weather, fitness, stress, battery. I can't find the face like I used to have. The one in using is very fitness oriented but some of it is duplicitous.. steps is represented the times.
