Don't let the razor's attractive appearance detract from its ability to perform. The blades are razor-sharp, but they won't hurt you. It only takes one or two passes over your facial hair, depending on the type. To see if the blades would become clogged, I let my whiskers grow out a little longer. Nope! I was blown away by how easily all of the hair rinsed out without becoming clogged. The metal stand is unnecessary in my opinion, but it does improve the looks of the razor as compared to it simply laying inside your cabinet.

It comes with its own magnetic stand to keep the razor on the vanity in the bathroom. The exfoliating bar is a new twist, disposing of the need to use soap or shaving cream while shaving.
