The Gillette Labs Razor for men with Exfoliating Bar sounded absolutely amazing. As soon as it arrived, I put it to use, and wow, I was stunned! It it a nice sturdy razor with a cool base that I personally liked displaying it on. You can tell it is made with great quality products. The exfoliating bar is nothing like I have ever used, but absolutely brilliant. I really added to the shaving experience. It left my face feeling so soft and gave me a great close shave. I am a fan and highly recommend this game changer!

However, when I opened this one I was a little disappointed to see that it's effectively identical to previous models but with a higher price tag. I've had the proglide fusion razor for years now and all I've had to do is replace the cartridge every so often. I didn't really notice the exfoliating bar doing anything extra, and the stand is very unnecessary in my mind – I don't ever intend on leaving a razor on display, I feel like it'd be weirder to leave it out. Anyway, if you really want to display your razor or want the latest and greatest, go for this, but otherwise you're probably just fine getting a slightly older model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Left my skin smooth and soft. I usually don't use shaving cream and this blade had no issue with that. No nicks, no tissue squares, just a clean face. Would use the product again in a pinch and definitely recommend to any consumer.

These are just what I needed in my life and is something I don't mind paying for. The shave is sharp but the razors are smooth. My official new razor is the Gillette razor.

My fingers fit around the head of the razor which gives me great control when trimming my neck. It feels awesome and gives a great shave. The magnetic base isn't my favorite. I like the look of it, and it is complemented by some rubber for grip. The metal handle also gives me a sense of durability. There is a stand for the razor included in the box which is a nice touch. I had never used a razor stand, and now I am a fan because it makes the razor accessible and helps keep it clean and dry. My only complaint is that dry water spots are regularly visible on the stand and sometimes the razor handle, detracting from the nice design. One of my review photos shows this. Features & Performance: The standout feature of this razor is its exfoliating bar which helps remove dirt and debris before the blades pass. I truly think it makes a difference because my shaves have been consistently close to my skin and very smooth. The feature that helps with that consistency is the adaptive “2D FlexDisc” design that contours to your face and ensures that the blades stay in contact with your skin.
