I do not see any differences with this razor versus a standard one, except for the metal based it sits in. This also feels much cheaper than other Gillette's as the body is made of plastic. Do not waste your money on this.

The handle has just enough weight to really feel good in my hand, it curves over my face really well and is just super easy to handle. The razor gives a really nice, smooth close shave. My face felt soft and smooth after using! I had no irritation at all. Also great is the stand for when not in use. Highly recommend.

And, once done, he loves being able to store it in the handy travel case, and not worrying about it sliding around in his bag and dulling the blade.
