But recently I decided to switch things up and try the GilletteLabs razor with the exfoliating bar and honestly, I'm really glad I did. Right from the first shave, I could feel the difference. Meanwhile, the Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide Power stands in a completely different league. It's solid, perfectly built, and feels premium in every detail. The vibration helps cut through thick stubble effortlessly, delivering a smooth, clean, and irritation-free shave every single time. Nothing rattles, nothing feels cheap — just top quality and performance. In short, both GilletteLabs razors are overhyped and overpriced disappointments. Fusion5 ProGlide Power remains the real standard of quality and the only one worth buying.

Maybe I received defective blade cartridges, but I did not like shaving with this razor. It did not give me a close or comfortable shave. Sheving with the first cartridge felt like shaving with a half dull blade, so I tried another cartridge; same result. I have been using the Mach 3 cartridges for many years and they privide a far more comfortable and closer shave for me.

However, GilletteLabs (a standalone brand of Gillette) has come up with some new and innovative razors that have topped the old way to shave, although some have been very pricey, yet efficient; for instance, the heated razor. This one, GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar, has now made, yet again, the top of the line razor that give a smooth and satisfying shave! No nicks, scratches, or irritation. The exfoliating bar as a great feature that adds just the right amount of pressure while shaving, allowing for a close and comfortable shaving experience. The "2-D FlexDisc" helps the blade keep contact with the contours of the face. It even comes with a magnetic stand that keeps the razor upright, to allow for proper drying and to avoid blade rust. It has a metal, ergonomic designed handle with a rubber grip and backing, which makes it very comfortable to handle and non-slip. Package also comes with an extra razor cartridge. We are absolutely satisfied with this product and highly recommend yet another winner from GilletteLabs!

I love my current Gillette razors but I do have to admit that the blades get dirty fast because of the dirt and skin that get picked up every time I shave. This new technology is quite awesome as the exfoliating bar picks up all the debris on the skin before the blades actually get to work. I get a very close shave with my new razor and love the fact that the blades remain much cleaner. When it comes to the handle, it is superb and feels like it will last for a while. The stand is also a nice plus as I no longer have to use the toothbrush holder to hang my razor. All in all, I am very pleased with this new razor which gets a 5 stars out of 5 from me.

It is light enough in the hand and has a nice pivot spot to work through all the bumps and grooves of a face. However it doesn't blow me away in anything it does. Do I feel like I get a good shave with this razor, absolutely. However I can get this shave with any razor I have at my house. That is my only complaint, nothing makes this razor stand out to me!
