[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice razor - what you can expect from Gillette razors. It does a great job shaving and cleaning up my face. This razor breezes through the challenging areas, like the neck, with minimal issues. The trimming blade on the flip side is a nice feature to touch up areas. Surprisingly, there is still some tug, despite the razor having 5 blades. Even after showering, I find that the razor still tries to pull some of the hair out vs cutting it nicely. My biggest complaint is that the release button (the big circle) is right where my finger tends to rest, which basically means anytime I apply pressure to the razor during the shave, the blade releases. A slight annoyance and in my opinion, a slight design flaw. I do not notice the exfoliating bar much - generally speaking - I use shaving cream which provides a pretty good buffer between the blades my face - the exfoliating bar serves little purpose. Overall, a nice razor - but nothing special.

Shaves nice and smooth and cleans under water pretty easy. Feels nice in the hand. But I am more of a fan of the stand that it goes into and i don't know why someone hasn't done this sooner. It's so nice to have it out of a drawer and just sitting nicely ready to use.

The razor has a wonderful rubber grip and a durable metal handle. This is the first razor I've ever used where I didn't feel like the handle was too cheap. Another great benefit of this razor that I've loved is the included magnetic stand for the razor. Aside from having a wonderful, sleek look, the stand helps ensure that my razor is always upright and is able to optimally dry. I have also been quite impressed by how well this razor works. The razor has a five-blade system that precisely cuts even the smallest facial hairs. I've also been surprised by how comfortable the razor glides along my face. I have not experienced any irritation or discomfort while using this razor. Another fantastic benefit of this razor is the addition of an exfoliating bar! This little bar acts as the perfect secondary barrier and is great for trapping any other debris on my skin while the razor is being used. The handle also has a wonderful FlexDisc that helps improve the versatility of the razor. The disk helps move the razor at all angles along with the shape of my skin, helping to ensure that the most precise shave is achieved. There honestly is not anything I dislike about this razor! It has been perfect in every way! Overall, I'm extremely impressed with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a super heavy-duty, precise razor that's sure to leave you looking your best every day!

It gently scrubs before the blade hits, so the shave feels smoother and less irritating. My skin felt cleaner and less bumpy after using it. Honestly, it's the first razor that made me feel like I wasn't just rushing through a shave.

Stand: I don't use the stand, but the handle fits perfectly in the stand, and looks nice displayed. Razor Blades: The cartridges are very sharp right out of the box. The blades cut similarly to Fusions. The exfoliating bar definitely helps make for a smoother shave, and assists in unhindered blade glide. Sensitive skin: The exfoliating bar, paired with the sharpness of the blades, absolutely helps to eliminate razor burn and bumps. Amount of uses per cartridge: I was able to get 6 shaves per cartridge, before I experienced pulling. My hair is very coarse so that's quite respectable for my face. Bottom line: Highly recommended, especially for those of you with sensitive skin. 5 stars

However, I rarely cut my face when shaving but I had 3 cuts after my first shave with this razor. Other than that the shave was actually really good and the stand is a cool touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor for Men for about two weeks and it is great. It has the normal feature we have come to love from Gillette; multiple blades, flexible head to work with the contours of your face and sleek design. However, this is the first razor I have used with the exfoliating feature and I don't plan to go back. The bar leaves your face felling smoother and cleaner than a normal shave. I am also a fan of the stand base. It is going to be a tough sell to keep this away from my wife.
