[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the concept of an exfoliating razor because I always need a lot of exfoliation after I shave (I don't do a complete clean shave that frequently). The razor works well and I believe it's the closest shave I've been able to achieve in a while. No cuts or nicks. Personally, I'm not sure how much of a difference the exfoliating bar made for me. This might be because I need a lot more than gentle exfoliation.

I love so much about it: 1) the blades are closer together, so hair doesn't get stuck between the blades, and it's more difficult to cut yourself. 2) a blade on the back side to get those difficult places. 3) the head flexibility is perfect. 4) the exfoliation bar is great, and I really like it. 5) the weight and size of the razor head and total razor footprint is perfect. Excellent balance and easy to use. 5b) the stand is really handy and stylish. I highly recommend this razor, there's no better anywhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handle: The handle feels great to hold, and it has a bit of texture to it to help with grip when wet. It has a nice premium finish. Stand: I don't use the stand, but the handle fits perfectly in the stand, and looks nice displayed. Razor Blades: The cartridges are very sharp right out of the box. The blades cut similarly to Fusions. The exfoliating bar definitely helps make for a smoother shave, and assists in unhindered blade glide. Sensitive skin: The exfoliating bar, paired with the sharpness of the blades, absolutely helps to eliminate razor burn and bumps. Amount of uses per cartridge: I was able to get 6 shaves per cartridge, before I experienced pulling. My hair is very coarse so that's quite respectable for my face. Bottom line: Highly recommended, especially for those of you with sensitive skin. 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use clippers due to razor burn and bumps but decided to try out a bladed razor and boy was i surprised. This razor has such a smooth cut. I had no razor bumps or razor burn which was amazing. I love this razor and will keep using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid razor handle with a slick, uniquely innovative magnetic stand. The blade itself is par for the course, however; not bad, but it's really no better than other Gillette heads. The exfoliating bar does not make a noticeable difference in my experience. Unfortunate, then, that this base will not fit other Gillette blades, as you're locked in to a higher replacement cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Gillette Exfoliating Bar Razor for a couple of weeks, overall, I am impressed with the quality of materials used and the sturdiness of the design. The base stand that is included is also a nice touch. The razor provides a smooth and close shave and I particularly like the articulating razor head. However, I do have some critiques. The razor requires a new type of razor head, which means I cannot use the ones I already have. Additionally, I found the exfoliating pad to be ineffective. Despite my appreciation for the razor, I will likely continue using my previous razor to avoid having to purchase the new style of razor head.
