It has a magnetic base which has a nice weight and look to it, just looks nice and feel high quality. The shave was very smooth and left my skin feeling real slick. Defiantly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfection!! Ok- This Razor is legit. Best shave I have ever had vs my other Gillette razor. So smooth and nice and very worth it for the money. This glided across my skin so softly and yet gave me the closest shave I've ever gotten and no irritation. The build quality is also great. The handle has a very nice balanced weight to it. The stand is a great convenience and it makes a basic grooming item look great where ever you place it. I can't recommend this enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually a straight edge user/shaver, but needed and alternate use for sensitive skin that doesn't pull or cause break outs for me. This works well, and the exfoliating bar didn't cause irritation like I was worried about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions is the box this came in feels high quality and is recyclable which is a nice touch. The handle is heavy duty and has a good feel in the hand. The exfoliating blade has a different feel to it, you can definitely tell it's there. I'm not sure if it really does much different then a normal blade. The base is really nice and it says that it is magnetic so it will keep the razor in it but it's not that strong so you cant feel it pull when you take the razor off the base and will probably be useful for a countertop. There is nothing sticky on the bottom of the base so it may not work as well if you keep it in the shower. It also came with a blade refill which is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As usual, Gillette made another great razor. The blades last about as along as any other blade made my Gillette. The exfoliating bar is nice and gives a great "clean" feel after each pass of the blades. The razor is top heavy which, in my opinion, makes for an easier shave. The base is magnetic for the handle so it strands up right, I do wish the magnet was a tad stronger (if you bump the razor while on its stand it'll fall over). Not something that will stop me from buying again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are into extreme comfort, luxury, pampering, intense self-care, excess, etc. this razor is for you. Typically I am a bargain dual-blade disposable razor guy as they get the job done cheaply, but my world kind of changed this morning. Unboxing this I was at first a little annoyed and felt kind of environmentally guilty as the packaging was over the top. I felt like I was unboxing a new iPhone. The razor itself is substantial and feels nice in the hand. I didn't expect it, but actually probably had one of the best shaves of my life this morning. It was faster, smoother and more comfortable than any razor I have used before. I kind of wish I hadn't done it so I could go on ignorantly using my cheapo razor. I am trying to make myself feel less guilty by remembering that I am probably creating more waste throwing entire disposal razors away compared to just the head that I will need to switch out with this one. I think a couple of more shaves and I will have easily convinced myself.

It provided a close shave and moved well with the contour of my face which made constant shaving easy. The heads pivots up, down, and side to side. The handle is a good weight and doesn't feel cheaply made. The base, which is unique, goes well at the sink and the razor slides right in. I recommend this razor, especially if you desire a close chance on a daily bases.
