It has a magnetic base which has a nice weight and look to it, just looks nice and feel high quality. The shave was very smooth and left my skin feeling real slick. Defiantly recommend

Pros: - Nice-looking and durable metal handle - Magnetic stand keeps the razor ready to use - Flexes to adapt to your face - Exfoliating bar helps remove dirt/debris before the blades - Provides smooth and close shaves Cons: - Dry water spots on the stand and handle are unattractive ----- DETAILS ----- Design: The first thing I noticed when taking the GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor out of its box was the metal handle. I like the look of it, and it is complemented by some rubber for grip. The metal handle also gives me a sense of durability. There is a stand for the razor included in the box which is a nice touch. I had never used a razor stand, and now I am a fan because it makes the razor accessible and helps keep it clean and dry. My only complaint is that dry water spots are regularly visible on the stand and sometimes the razor handle, detracting from the nice design. One of my review photos shows this. Features & Performance: The standout feature of this razor is its exfoliating bar which helps remove dirt and debris before the blades pass. I truly think it makes a difference because my shaves have been consistently close to my skin and very smooth. The feature that helps with that consistency is the adaptive “2D FlexDisc” design that contours to your face and ensures that the blades stay in contact with your skin. I like the little weighted base included so you can put your raiser in a standing position on it so it will dry and be handy for next time. I'm always happy with my Gillette razors. Recommended.

Great product the does exactly what it is made for! My only BIG complaint always have been the price point. Price this and their products are high and not affordable to majority of consumers including myself.

There's no irritation at all which usually sometimes I get after shaving. If you're looking to upgrade your razor, I would suggest giving this a look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So after trying the Gillette Lab razor, I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. I've tried a lot of razors and while they were good and useable, this razor is about the flexibility of the blade. This allows for a relatively clean shave. I actually only did one pass on my mustache and beard. This razor is so good, my wife actually brought one to use on her legs and underarms because the blade is gentle to the skin. Great price and bang for your buck. I absolutely recommend this product!
