What a nice addition to the kitchen! Our previous trash can was barely making it with its broken pedal, and thank goodness we found this EKO model. It looks like an attractive appliance, and the Sam's kitchen trash bags fit perfectly in it!

The can fits perfectly in our under counter trash cubby. We just can't use the auto opening feature. it does a better job of keeping in the smells the old can couldn't. She loves it!

I didn't expect to have strong feelings about a trash can, but this one genuinely impressed me. The motion sensor lid works smoothly and opens quickly with just a small wave of your hand, which is incredibly convenient when you're cooking or your hands are full. It feels surprisingly hygienic too—I barely have to touch it at all. The build quality is solid, and it doesn't feel flimsy. The lid closes quietly and seals well, which helps keep odors contained. It may seem like a small upgrade, but it's one of those everyday items that actually makes life a little easier. If you're on the fence about a motion-sensor trash can, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Good value considering that the regular waste bin with push by foot for lid to rise was almost the same price. On a side note the 3yr old and 1 year old grandchildren love activating the lid. I was actually replacing the container that was foot pedal mechanically operated because it broke. Now I will only have to replace the batteries… hopefully not too often with the kids playing with it!

Takes a bit to get used to but it works very well. Just don't try to overfill it because it doesn't like it and will open and close until you fix the problem. Much slimmer than our previous one and can sit closer to the wall without getting stuck open.

Excellent trash can. Love that it's touchless. Going from a plastic Simple Human step trash which we had for 9 years but lid and pedal broke and we literally had to open the whole top to throw out anything. We loved it but the stainless steel version let alone touchless was way over budget. This trash can is veryeasy to use and budget friendly. Getting that Simple Human look without that huge price tag. Fits members mark trash bag which is what we normal get for kitchen bags. I love how this has a plastic liner inside which makes the top of the bag you pull over the edge concealable once you place the lid on top. I will say the lid did scratch easily first day which annoyed me. Very tiny minor scratch so be careful taking it out and where you place it when changing out the bags. Batteries I put in still going hasn't run out of battery. Goes great in my kitchen with the rest of my stainless steel appliance. Definitely recommend!

Took a while to learn not to use a foot step to open the trash can up. The good: - motion sensor - open and close button - off switch in back of the lid - large opening ( 14inch across) for the large trash can - easy container removal for bag removal - non skid base - closes soft - due to policy it can be returned or replaced anytime The not so good: - the lid will open when you walk by

It's ok. Fits the space. But I wish it moved faster and sensed better. It really only works by tapping the lid with the garbage you intend to throw out. The rest of the time you're just kinda waving trash at it hoping it will open. If it had a foot pedal I'd like it more.

The trashcan is well built and has a sturdy plastic liner that makes removing and installing the bags easy. It also eliminates any potential drips on the floor. Our only problem is the motion sensor has too long range. We have the trashcan positioned in an under counter opening and the sensor causes the door to open because it says the countertop above. I will try to put some transparent tape or perhaps two layers over the sensor to see if I can reduce its range and thus allow proper function under the cabinet.

While the trash can functioned okay, the lid is so flimsy and light weight that it didn't close properly, and I was concerned about it's longevity. It was returned without an issue. Gotta love Sam's for returns.
