[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving my Sony Blu-ray disc player. Its portable and compact. Very sleek and appealing piece of equipment. The colors are absolutely amazing. It plays my regular dvds and cds as well as blu-ray disc which is exactly what I was looking for. I was surprised to find out I could also put my phone content up on my tv with this baby! It was so easy to hook up and I'm glad it's a Sony because they have stellar customer support. Very satisfied with this player.

I still have many DVDs that I really enjoy watching and I appreciate that it comes with access to Netflix and YouTube, two apps that I frequent. And it allows me not to have to buy another device, like Roku, to access them.

It's very friendly user I don't need to connect a whole lot of cables just two, the power outlet and connection to my TV. I am extremely pleased with the size and quality, I placed it in a small area near my TV, it is no bigger than a book. Another thing I really liked is how all my favorite apps are all included inside of the DVD player screen. I recommended 10 out of 10. Great item to include in your entertainment system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the chance to try the SONY BDP-S1700 Blu-ray player and was not disappointed. Before I start note that this player is NOT Wifi capable so keep that in mind when you purchase it. That said, should you wish to hook it up to a wired network it does have the capability to handle Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and other apps. As we have a smart TV we were not concerned with setting up those features. As for basic Blu-ray and DVD use this player works great, blu-ray quality is as expected. All in all a great little player in a small footprint from Sony!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sony BDP-S1700 model Blu-ray Disc Player is an excellent value! Takes up very little space and not bulky at all and provides great quality video and sound for watching both HD videos and better yet for me, great quality watching all my old home videos(about 40 discs) which I had converted myself from VHS to disc long ago. It's also great for streaming as well. It has HDMI and coax outputs and USB and Ethernet inputs, all one needs as long as you're not demanding Wi-Fi. Even then, if it's really needed later on, there's a simple adapter available now to work around that and have it work wirelessly.Very simple to set up and use. You can always count on a decent value for the price with all Sony products and this player is no different.

It is a great value with no compromise to picture quality. It has the option to plug a wired Ethernet cable into it for internet, no wifi built into this one unfortunately. Overall it's a great little player to play your DVD's and Blue-ray's with.

It's nice and compact and can fit almost anywhere. It was very easy to set up and run. The package included everything needed to set it up and run immediately. It came with a remote, batteries for the remote, and cable. The best part is, it has internet functionality and comes preloaded with Netflix and youtube. I would definitely recommend this product.
