It initially has a pleasant vanilla scent to it, there are no fishy tastes or odors. I was aware of MegaRed 350mg Omega-3 Krill Oil, as my husband takes it by doctor recommendation on a daily basis. I will definitely keep purchasing MegaRed 350mg Omega-3 Krill Oil in the future, as well as tell my friends and family about it. The pill is extremely easy to swallow, and amazing for heart health!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I noticed about this product was the size of the pill, it is reasonable to swallow, unlike other Omega-3 supplements I have taken, they were large and harder to swallow and got to be a pain each day, especially when 2 were recommended, but only 1 is recommended for MegaRed Kril oil. I do not have that fishy aftertaste or burps that are common in other brands. I have taken Omega-3 products for a while for overall health and well being and so far these are my favorite.

It is very small and its form makes for easy swallowing. It is the first product in its class that I have no issues taking because it does not have the fishy aftertaste that other comparable brands offer. I have been trying to add certain things to my health regimen and this addition delivers the omega 3s I wanted to incorporate to help with my joint, heart, and eye health.

These seem to helping with my dry skin and joint pain as well. I hadn't tried this brand before, but I'm sold. Definitely recommend giving these a try. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very eager to receive my MegaRed Omega Krill Oil softgels, as I know there has been talk of the benefits of fish oil for brain and heart health for a long time. I had tried some brand of fish oil about 10 years ago, but it wasn't krill oil. I guess fish oil in general is something one isn't going to see the benefits from immediately, but more so perhaps if there are any bothersome side effects. I don't think I was familiar with this product before and not sure if I had heard about krill oil vs regular fish oil. I was familiar with Schiff brand and as far as I know they are supposed to be a good brand. Fish oil is known for fishy "burps" one might get. I didn't experience that with this product, and the softgels have a slight vanilla scent to them which is nice. I do however suffer form some stomach problems (IBS) and seemed to be having a bit more stomach problems while I was taking the krill oil, but I can't say with certainty if it was directly related to the product. I think most people would not get stomach problems from this product, so on the whole, I would be inclined to recommend it as it has DHA and EPA and doesn't have the side effect typically associated with fish oil.

The gelatin coating is an attractive red with a very slight sweet taste, and that along with the pleasant smell really sets these krill oil gel tabs apart from the rest. They also didn't make me burp like other brands sometimes do. Seeing Schiff on the label assures me of the highest quality and gives me confidence. Just taking one softgel per day means I'm getting nutrients lacking in my diet. Highly recommended.
