My kids are little and they do know not to take anything without my giving it to them but you never know. As for the product itself it was convenient to take one capsule a day and I liked that the capsule was small enough I wasn't gagging on it trying to swallow. I liked having both a prebiotic and probiotic in one so it was less to be taken.
