[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark detect reveal vacuum looks sleek, is light weight, but suction outperformed my well known cordless vacuum. We took the Detect Reveal over our shag rug which was just vacuumed with my old (very expensive) vacuum. Half the crust container was full just from that one rug. I couldn't believe it was that much more powerful than ours. The vacuum's also lighted so you see what you're cleaning, it's super easy to empty, has a longer cord, and gets used daily in my household. Assembly took less than five minutes before we were up and running. The filtration is state of the art, removing allergens and small particles. The only cons are slight- it doesn't stand up when you are done vacuuming unless you break it down into a smaller version which takes time, and of course the cord. You have to consider if that's worth the improvement in vacuuming. For us, the cords long enough that it's not a big deal and my house is much cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a great vacuum for quick cleanups! My wife loves her full size shark power detect so we were excited to try out the stick vacuum detect. We have mostly hardwood and tile floors with just a few small rugs so it mostly is used to pick up food messes from kids and pet hair. The good: - no hair tangling issues for us - lightweight to easily bring up and down stairs - selectable power modes work well - rubber pads at the top to lean against a wall is a nice addition - blue light really helps show the dust, dirt and hair! Quirks: - the cord is nice and long but it attaches at an odd spot where it can rub on your hand when using the vacuum - steering is not the smoothest but once you use it a bit it's perfectly fine Would give 4.7 stars if I could but it's definitely deserving of the 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have absolutely fallen in love with this shark vacuum. From the moment it was delivered I've been very satisfied. It was easy to set up and took me less than 5 minutes. I had previously just vacuumed so I was curious to see what if anything would get picked up and of course it pulled a crazy amount of dirt out of my living room carpet! The suction is fantastic! I absolutely love all of the different features/attatchments. It's very light weight, easy to empty and easy to empty and clean. It works great to vaccum my couch. (We are cat friendly house) I love that it transitions with the slide of a button for my other hard non carpeted floors. Forget sweeping I just ran through the house quick with the vacuum! It can reach great under my kitchen table and chairs easily and I don't have to pull everything out and it swivels around things like a breeze. I have 4 kids and they can make quite the mess, this vaccum has a blue revealing light that makes any debris on hard floor glow to insure you don't miss anything! I do actually really love that it is a corded vacuum, I've had a battery one and 9/10 times the battery usually died before I was fully finished with my vacuuming. Only slight negative I could potentially find is it is a bit louder than my other vaccum however it cleans 10x better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a cavalier King Charles spaniel and he sheds a lot! We have no carpet but the broom is not enough. I have used many vacuums but this one is elite!!! The suction is serious, it's tall enough not to require a ton of bending ,the noise isn't too loud and the collection cup is easy to remove. I love that it can be detached for easy storage. This is honestly the best one I've ever used!

I love how all the attachments attach and detach so easily, making it easy to adjust and get into tight spaces. The blue light for dirt on hardwood and white lights for carpets also make cleaning exact and easy!

I am used to going through vacuums with my Alaskan Malamutes (their breed is actually known for being vacuum killers). I had a Shark years ago and wasn't impressed, but with so many others in the community talking up Shark, I decided to give this vacuum a try. Honestly, I am glad I did! This may very well be one of the best vacuums I have tried in years! First, it is a lightweight, easy-to-use vacuum that you can plug in and go. No more worrying about your battery running low, making the vacuum extremely ergonomic and built to last. There are also no weird settings. You pick your floor type and go. What really makes it impressive, though, is its cleaning power. It has fantastic suction on carpet and hardwood floors. The rug used for my test (the video) is my girls' favorite sleeping spot, and I have to vacuum it daily. This vacuum handled it with minimal effort. This vacuum is honestly a delight to use and so cost-effective. I was also floored by its price, making it a fantastic deal for pet owners.

It has great suction and does a really nice job of picking up everything without feeling heavy or cumbersome. It is also super easy to empty which is a big plus for me. It is a great vacuum that makes everyday cleanup - especially with a dog - a lot quicker and less of a hassle!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really do like this vacuum. It is lightweight, pivots easily and is versatile. The only downside is the small dirt bin. Granted I have two dogs, which means I accumulate a lot of dog hair. Other than that, it easily detaches to a handheld for reaching smaller or higher up spots. Plus, the light it shines helps showcase all the hair on the floor. Which is both a blessing and a curse. I would recommend this vacuum!

I love this machine! I just wish it had a light while using it as a hand vac as well. The rocket pro has two lights but not the tangle free brush roll. I clean for a living so the brush roll is pretty important but I may just go with the less expensive model to get the additional light.
