It will not play blu-ray. That's my bad for not reading the fine print. It's plug and play and it works perfectly.

We did not notice that it is not Blu-Ray. All regular TVs need Blu-Ray. This one wud be fine with SMART TVs.

Very slow loading and input response. Very cheap looking loading screen. Not what I'd expect from a Sony product.

This is only a dvd player, not a blu-ray player which most dvd's are today. So don't be fooled by the good price it only plays dvd in the old format.

This Sony DVD player lasts for many years and the picture is perfect. just bought my second one after many years of use with the first one. Would recommend.
