We loved this swing when we first got it. But for some reason after 4 months, the swing will work for 2 minutes just fine then all of the buttons flash, and the swing stops moving. I can't find a solution to get it working again online and have tried several forms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this swing to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was pleasantly surprised that my 10mo daughter actually loves it. She is very opinionated, willful, and always on the move and she outgrew her other infant swings, seats, etc a while back. When I put her in this swing she calms down even when she is in the middle of a meltdown where before the only thing that would make her happy would be me walking around with her in my arms. I try to workout a couple mornings a week and before this swing she would start getting in my way and fussing for the last 15 minutes or so making it pretty much impossible to finish. Since being given this swing, I put her in it once she starts getting impatient and she is happy for the rest of the time. I have experimented with the different patterns and some work for her and others don't. Having the vast control over both pattern and speed is super helpful since she is so picky and she needs certain ones to stay happy. I am also impressed with the music as I am very tired of the same old songs that are in almost all toys and that are constantly stuck in my head, This swing has songs that are either completely different or have enough of a twist to them that they don't get stuck in my head. It is also very obvious that this swing was designed down to the detail to be as easy for parents to use as possible. Putting it together was a piece of cake (the pictures were a little hard to understand, but everything was intuitive so it didn't matter). The top smoothly disconnects and converts into a rocker (unfortunately my little girl is too big for me to be able to use that function.) If it is too close to a wall it will alert you. The seat is easy to remove and throw in the wash but is still super soft and comfy. Do be aware that this will take up a decent amount of space and the swing base does plug in the wall instead of running off batteries so if you have a crawler like me you will have to find a place for it that they can't get to the cord. While I would not say that this swing is worth it for an already older baby like my 10m daughter I would say it is more than worth it for a smaller baby knowing that it will continue to be useful for many months. I just wish I had it when she was smaller because I think it would have been an absolute life saver in being able to get things done while she was happily swinging along.

I wish we'd received it as a baby shower gift, so that I could've used it from day one with my baby. As it is, my husband and I have found various features that we like about it, and most importantly, my baby loves being in it. To begin with, it was so easy to put together. It took me a full 16 minutes to put the Soothe My Way together, after I'd removed all the parts from the box, and then only because I installed both base legs before attaching the connector to the first leg. I had to take one out, and insert the connector, but it wasn't difficult to do. Once I'd finished construction, we could see the advantages of this swing. We were gifted a different swing, but the slimmer profile of the Soothe My Way immediately made it a better fit in our small apartment living room. It doesn't look bulky and it hasn't gotten in the way like other baby items have done. Most importantly, with its pad and enfolding seat, the swing is so comfy that we've developed a new routine; I place my baby in the seat, turn on a baby video, and get about 20-30 minutes to make dinner while my LO coos and laughs. We played around with each of the different motions on the first day. While my LO was surprised and giggled at every change, we eventually settled on the half circle setting: it seems to be the most comfortable for him to watch TV and relax. His other favorite setting, while watching me cook or sitting next to me in the living room is the figure eight. At almost six months old, my baby is growing fast, and we were only able to use the pad for a few days before the straps felt too tight around his shoulders. I could fit a finger between his shoulder and the strap, but I really had to pull to fasten the five point harness. That was one thing I wish could be improved: straps that were a little longer to accommodate my little bean pole! Maybe if there was a mention of it in the instructions, that would be helpful for parents whose babies seem to be reaching the upper range of the weight and height limits. One feature that I haven't tested out is the rocker, since we haven't weighed our baby recently, and I suspect he's past the 18 lb. limit. Once we confirm it, I would love to be able to take advantage of being able to move him from the living room to the kitchen, so that he can watch mama finish dinner after he's had enough of the TV. This way, the SMW would eliminate two separate items that we received to each serve those purposes. Since I can't have baby on the floor in my small kitchen, the rocker would make the best accessory to keep him company and a safe eye on. This swing has ticked a lot of boxes for my little family ; it's stylish, compact, comfortable for my baby, and fills multiple functions that have helped us to eliminate too many products in our home. Although the straps seem to me to fit a little snugly, I'm looking forward to finding a solution so that we can continue to enjoy using it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are first time parents with a now four month old son. The first day we got this swing, our little one immediately LOVED IT! He was all smiles from the moment we put him in. He loves the different motions and especially the adjustable recline so he can sit up and see his surroundings. If he 's a little sleepy, more recline with some soothing music is just right to relax. If he's alert, sitting upright but moving to explore the room is great entertainment. Its great that we can use the swing when plugged in, but can easily move him by removing the seat/rocker if headed to another room. The rocker still has a vibrate function which is great when not on the base. The fabric is gender neutral, would easily match any decor, and so soft. Our baby always seems comfortable and cozy when using this seat. Our favorite feature is the many options to soothe our baby. With all the different motions and sounds, there is always something to make him smile. It takes up less space than a traditional swing with different speeds and reclining options. It is convenient when the baby is asleep because you can remove the rocker and take it with you around the house without waking up the baby. It plays lullabies and other sounds and the material is soft too. This is a must have for any parent in my opinion.

Upon first receiving it, we had to try it out, so we put a stuffed animal in it! We were so impressed with all of the features it has for being so compact. I love that it has so many different motions so you can find one that works for your baby. I found that my baby really likes the figure 8 setting. She also likes to sit it in during playtime to watch mom or look at the toys that hang above it. It is so convenient that this swing has the removable rocker feature. I am able to soothe my baby on the swing in the living room and then take it off the base and bring it with me around the house when I need to go get things done. The swing really has great padding and is so soft and cozy. My favorite thing about this swing/rocker is the versatility. We didn't get this swing until baby was 2.5 months old but it would have been so nice to have from the start for her whole newborn stage. I do have to say that this swing does click. It isn't super annoying, but if the room is quiet you will hear it. I also wish the plug in cord was a little bit longer. Overall, I would recommend this swing, as it is a great product! The Graco Soothe My Way Swing is a nice product to have because it is a swing and an individual seat. Having both products separately can take up a lot of space, so I love that I am able to use the seat in other rooms but put it back after. I just wish the rocker portion had a higher weight limit. I also love the simple look of the swing because it works well with my decor. The light colors are beautiful. When it comes to the functions, I love the many options for swing movement and speed. My son was easily able to fall asleep in this product. I find the speaker quality not so great and the button for the noise is very temperamental. Overall, I really like the product and will hold onto it for my next baby.

Our little girl has been fighting naps hard, and it's been a struggle to get homework for college done since she wants held almost constantly. This swing arrived just in the nick of time. Assembly was a bit of a struggle, but once it was done, we plopped her in, turned it on, and she passed out within 10 minutes. It was a miracle! I like that it has a built-in sound machine, and so many different settings. Even after she wakes up, she's content to lay in it and look around. I haven't removed the rocker part to take her from room to room, but it's definitely a handy feature. The seat is so nice and snuggly and padded, and she loves watching the toys from the mobile. I think my favorite part is all the different motions. Every baby is different and the same thing doesn't work for everyone, so it's nice to have a lot of different options to find what's best. The swing itself can be a little noisy, but not enough to be annoying. It's pretty compact and not too bulky or heavy. Overall, I love it!
