We got this as part of a testing program, so yes it was free, here is my honest opinion about the product. The installation is a dream, especially for first time parents. It has a belt pathway that secures in place and keeps it from moving, it also has green/red indicators to tell you if it's tight enough, which is a big help in knowing your little is actually well secured, it also has a QR code showing you a video of how to get a proper install. The seat is super plush, reclinable and has an extendable canopy feature, which is inside a zipper under the canopy, great for those of us that have a lot of sun and is needed for the stroller or the long car rides to keep the sun away from their little faces. Our old main car seat was a competing brand, but not rotating, and our daughter hated it, this one? Smiles from the get go!! It is very plush, my husband calls it a baby lazy boy! It reclines, it rotates which is not only convenient but also a game to my daughter and she loved it! I did put in a suggestion for different colors as my only "negative", because babies are messy and light colors tend to not live unstained for long. That being said it's washable and very easy to take apart and put again after it's done. Overall we loved the experience with this seat, so much so we upgraded to the next version!

This is by far the best infant carseat I have ever had. As a mom of 4 I need something efficient and easy. This fits the bill. I can easily attach baby without juggling carrier in my hand and lifting in car. I love being able to set him safely then turn him and listen to it click into place. I feel he is safe and the comfort of the click is great. The fabric is breathable and also easy to watch. Installation was a breeze especially with the indicator lights. Lastly the one hand release up front is a game changer. I rarely have two hands free so this is a lifesaver so I don't have to set things down or make multiple trips for everything.

It is overall easy to use especially comparative to other car seats Ive used and purchased in the past. The rotating feature is as helpful and awesome as one could imagine. The Peri 180 has been a game changer for travel with my baby. I can't imagine life with a basic car seat now. The 360 rotation is amazing and makes getting my daughter in and out simple and seamless. It looks and feels luxe and is SO light and easy to carry.

The rotating base is a great feature, especially if you keep the car seat in the car for the majority of the time. The colors and materials are very nice. I really like the extended shade option. This is great for naps and weather when out and about.

It is easy to clip and unclip the car seat from the base and I feel confident the base is installed correctly because of the red-green indicators on the base. I love the ease of clipping and unclipping the seat from the stroller as well, makes quick trips a breeze! Favorite feature is the additional pull down sun shade build into the normal shade. Its always attached and helps to prolong naps without having to make sure I have a blanket or something else to provide additional shade. Luxury materials like the leather handle and plush seat. And the ability to rotate the seat is great for taking baby out of the car seat when out and about. Overall great car seat!

I definitely feel as if this would not be my first choice for car seats and the fact that I had such difficulty while trying to place the car seat in the base and take it out daily was a huge struggle. Im not saying that is a reason for someone not to buy the seat but as someone who has to be in and out of the car at least 4x a day, this was a huge deterrent for myself. It got super frustrating, and I felt like that bothered me enough to not love the car seat as a whole. The rotating feature worked perfectly fine but I just felt like it wasnt worth the large-bulky base that it came with, which was hard for my older kids to get around in the car. If you dont need to worry about that, then its not a huge deal. The car seat itself was amazingly light. I was truly impressed and loved that part so much. Makes it easier to carry plus when having to put the car seat on to the stroller to connect them both, it was lighter than I expected (which is always nice). Overall not my favorite infant car seat, but a good sturdy one. Definitely consider all aspects of the car seat if you use it daily but know others may not have had the exact same experience as myself. This is just what I found to be true for his particular car seat. I truly don't know what I would do tell someone if they asked if they should buy it. I guess it would depend on their needs and desires in a car seat and how often it would be used.

I received the Peri car seat as part of a product testing program with Dorel. I have some mixed feelings about this car seat. There are some cool features for sure. The rotation feature is obviously the one that stands out the most. I didn't appreciate this as much when my son was a newborn, but now that hes getting a bit bigger, it's been a game changer for getting him in and out of the car seat! The car seat itself is light and easy to carry, as well as very aesthetically pleasing. I've even had others compliment the appearance. I really like the canopy shade and how it easily tucks away when not in use. There are some things that I wish were different about the seat. I wish that the base of the seat was not as tall and allowed you to place and remove the seat from the base while rear-facing. I find it very awkward to attach and detach the seat from the base while the seat is facing you. The rotation feature makes the base quite high, and at 5'1", I need to lift the seat (with my 20 lb infant) well above my waist in order to secure it into the base, causing quite a bit of struggle on a daily basis. This may not be an issue for everyone, but for my petite frame, it does make it challenging.

I am a car seat tech and had this seat come to me to be checked. From the door everything looked good, removed the seat from the base and saw the green indictors and thought nice they did a good install. Pulled on the seat not very hard and the locking lever popped open. The indicators still remained green. Most seats with a lock off go from red to green when the locking mechanism is fully engaged, not the presence of the belt which does not require much force to trigger green. I reinstalled it myself and saw green and again the lever wasn't locking into place. This seems like a poor design that can give a potential false indication that everything is good. Secondary the family thought it was a rotational seat that can go forward facing which in my head I am thinking no because it is a infant seat but after looking at the marketing and the use of 180 I can see how parents might think this is a rotational seat like others on the market
