Beautiful pergola, Very high quality and outstanding value for the money. Countless compliments from friends and neighbors. Contruction was outsourced as it was a little too heavy/intimidating for us to try on our own. Took a crew of three about 8 hours to construct. Only disappointment was the sunshade, which does not cover the entire roof of the structure. The shade itself, however is very effective in blocking sun and a great appearance. Just wish it covered the entire roof and did not allow sun through the outer roof perimeter where the shade does not cover. I would recommend this structure without hesitation!

Couldn't be happier with our steel pergola! It looks so pretty! We added white metal roofing, so we could enjoy the sound of the rain..awesome! Every screw & bolt was there & fit just as it should! Love it! Thank you for such a high quality product at such a reasonable price!

I was skeptical when I saw so many great reviews, but loved the look of the pergola. Let me tell you, this is the real deal. The reviews are amazing because the product is amazing. The whole process was a dream. The pergola arrived about 3 weeks after placing the order. It came in 4 heavy boxes. The boxes are packed so perfectly, each beam is individually wrapped and on each bag is an ID tag. We unpacked each box and laid everything out according to it's ID which made the process much faster. Then put together all of the horizontal beams (not exactly how the instructions are laid out) but it made it a lot easier in the long run. Once all the beams were put together we started to construct the four posts. As most have pointed out, it's much easier to have three people when putting the four posts together with the cross beams. My wife and I did it with the just the two of us, but it was very difficult. We used a ladder to hold one beam up while my wife held a post up and I connected the first few beams. Once you have three post connected it goes much easier. I'm still amazed at how well laid out the instructions are as well as the all the parts. Everything fit perfectly together. No parts were missing, all beams fit together without issue. In the end it took us about 8 hours spread over two days. The pergola is simply the beauitful and Backyard Discovery knows how to make a great product. The wait for this product is worth it. Don't try another pergola just because this is always out of stock. We wait 6 months before one day I saw it was in stock and ordered it immediately. I'm so happy we did! You're going to love it.

We are very happy with our choice of pergola. The only complaint that we have is that there were a few bolts that were not all thread correctly, and did not work. Luckily we were able to make due with some others. After putting it up, and seeing the result, I would definitely buy another one if needed. We are excited to use our pergola throughout the summer!

Turned out better than expected. Easy to assemble with the Bilt app. Other than getting the crossbars up and posts in place I was able to do everything on my own (w/the help a few ladders). I don't really see much utility in the shade because it is challenging to take on and off and it isn't the most attractive thing (looks like a tarp).

This was so straightforward of an installation for the most part. The only thing the instructions lacked was at which point to secure to our foundation. So we just did it when it felt right. We preassembled all the pieces that made sense prior to errecting. Since that was the most time consuming part of the whole thing. The installation took 2 people 4 hours total to complete. It looks AWESOME. We had 2 small setbacks, one missing bracket for the powerbox and one piece had some damage that basically wore the paint off a small fingernail size. The company promptly sent out a bracket and touch up paint.

We have had our pergola finished now for a week, and we couldn't be more pleased. It has helped create a beautiful room on our patio. The builder we had install it was hestitant, but when he was finished, he said he would definitely recommend it to others. We love it!

Love love love this pergola and our new outdoor « room ». The only thing we are waiting for is the shade canopy for our size pergola which is on back order. My husband put it together by himself in a few days; said it was easy peasey, just a bit time consuming. If I can figure out how to include a photo, I will!

We set up this pergola a month ago and added a simple shade cloth pergola cover. It's perfect! Looks great and now provides a lot of shade. It was relatively easy for my husband and brother in law to put together with only one issue with the instructions where one of the pictures wasn't clear but didn't cause too much of a problem.

I put all most of the parts together and laid them out on a snowmobile trailer. Then my wife and I put it up one day. Just two mid 60 year olds. Everyone that has seen it loves it . My only complaint is that the shade sail wants to curl up in between the corner tie downs. Love the no maintenance !!'
