It came packaged very securely which I appreciated since it kept everything in perfect condition upon arrival. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the tiered design of this turntable—it makes it much easier to see and organize smaller items without them getting lost or cluttered. However, the oval shape is a bit of a drawback. When you rotate it, it requires a larger turning radius than the space it actually occupies, which ends up wasting valuable cabinet space. A more compact or circular design might be more efficient.
